Configure Outlook Express 5/6 - New E-Mail Account
Open Outlook Express, click on the word Tools across the top then click Accounts.
A new window will appear, click on the Mail tab across the top. On the right side click Add, and then click on Mail.
Type a friendly name in the Display name: field, click Next.
Type your E-mail address in the E-mail address field, click Next.
Select POP3 from the dropdown and type in your local POP3 server in the Incoming mail field and local SMTP server in the Outgoing mail field. Click Next.
Your Account name should already be listed. Type your password in Password field, click Next.
You may or may not see the following screen. If you don't skip to step 9. If you do see this screen select Do not import at this time and click Next.
Click Finish.
Click Finish. and then click Close on the Internet Accounts window and now your e-mail will be setup.
