Configure Netscape 7 - New E-Mail Account

  1. Open Netscape 7. Click on Window and then click on Mail & Newsgroups.

  2. Click on Edit then Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings.

  3. Select Email Account and click Next.

    *NOTE: If the Account Wizard doesn't start click on Add Account to start it.

  4. Type in ths users name in Your Name.
    *NOTE This shows up on any e-mails that are sent out
  5. Now type in your e-mail address in the Email Address: field and click Next.

  6. Select POP for the incoming server type. Now enter in the local Incoming Server (POP3) and Outgoing Server (SMTP) name for your ISP and click Next.

  7. Enter in the first part of your email address (before the @ symbol) in the User Name: field and click Next.

  8. Type in a friendly name (you can call it anything you wish) in the Account Name: field and click Next.

  9. Click Finish to complete the Account Wizard.
