Open Netscape 6. Click on the Tasks across the top then click on Mail.
Click on the Edit across the top then click on Mail/News Account Settings.
Click on the New Account.
Select ISP or email provider then click Next.
Type a friendly name in the Your Name: field, then type in your e-mail address in the Email Address: field. Click Next.
Type in your username in the User Name: field. (enter in the first part of the users email address before the @ symbol)
Under Incoming Server select POP Mail Server for Server Type and type in your local POP3 server name in the Server Name: field. Also type in your local SMTP server name in the Outgoing (SMTP) Server name field and click Next.
Type a friendly name in the Account Name: field and click Next.
