Open Netscape Messenger. Click on the word Edit across the top and then click on Preferences.
On the left side click the + in front of Mail & Newsgroups and click on the Identity. On the right enter in the your name under Your name: and in the Email address field enter in the your Email address and then on the left side, click on Mail Servers.
On the right side, in the Incoming Mail Servers field, it should read the users POP3 server name. If it doesn't click Edit.
The Server Name: field should read your local POP3 server name. The Server Type is a POP3 Server. In the User Name field enter in just your username (without the @domain.com) and click OK.
On the right, under Outgoing Mail (SMTP) server, type in your outgoing SMTP server name. In the Outgoing mail server user name field enter in your username (without the @domain.com). Click OK to save these settings and exit the Preferences screen.
