Configure Windows NT Dial-Up Settings

  1. Double-click on the My Computer icon on your desktop.

  2. Double-click the Dial-Up Networking icon.

  3. If you get the window below, then you have never configured Dial-up Networking before. Click OK.

  4. Under Name the new phonebook entry, type in your ISP name. Leave a check-mark out of I know all about phonebook entries and would rather edit the properties directly and click Next.

  5. Put a check-mark next to I am calling the Internet. Click Next.

  6. Enter the local phone access number for you area. Leave out the check-mark next to Use Telephony dialing properties. Click Next.

  7. Click Finish.

  8. You should be in the screen below.
