Click on Start, select Settings and click on Dial-Up Networking.
Double-click on Make New Connection.
Enter you ISP name for the Type a name for the computer you are dialing. Be sure your modem is selected in the Select a device field. Click Next.
Enter your local access number then click Next.
Click Finish.
Back in the Dial-Up Networking screen right click the new icon you just created and left click on Create Shortcut
Click Yes.
Now you will have an icon on your desktop labeled Shortcut to...... When you double click that icon you will see the following screen. Make sure your User name, Password and phone number are correct and click Connect.
