Click on the Start button, go to Settings, then to Network and Dial-up Connections.
Double click on Make New Connection.
Click Next.
Select Dial-up to the Internet. Click Next.
Select I want to set up my Internet connection manually, or I want to connect through a local area network (LAN). Click Next.
Select I connect through a phone line and a modem. Click Next. *NOTE: If you see a modem selection screen after you clicked next, select your modem and then click Next.
Enter your local access number here and click Next.
In the field labeled User name, enter your account name. In the field labeled Password, enter your password. Click Next.
Enter in your ISP name into the Connection Name field. Click Next.
Click No if you don't want to setup e-mail. Click Next.
Click Finish.
To dial, click Start, go to Settings, then to Network and Dial-up Connections, and select the dial-up icon you just created. In the new window, click Dial.
